Waterford runners find different ways to firstWATERFORD - Waterford’s Quinn Gaetz is no magician, but he did turn one of the roughest starts to a race you’ll find anywhere into a win on Tuesday. The Grade 10 student entered the Waterford District High School track and field junior boys 400m event with high hopes — unfortunately it started out as unlucky as you can get. Gaetz was blocked after the gun, forcing him to the inside lane and in last place heading around the first corner. “I was a little bit worried,” he admitted.
