Different strategies, same results
Peter Quosai is easy winner in senior boys cross-country event while Vanessa Linton takes girls’ prize with late kick

Rob Massey/Mercury staffGUELPH — Peter Quosai of Centennial and Guelph CVI’s Vanessa Linton not only triumphed over their fellow competitors, but also the elements in winning District 4/10 high school senior cross-country titles Wednesday at Margaret Greene Park.
Participants in all six races of the championship meet had to deal with cool and windy conditions and most also had to deal with rain, the hardest falling during the junior boys’ race.
Quosai led all the way to allow Centennial to keep the individual title. Current Guelph Gryphon Drew Anderson had won it the previous two years while Quosai was the junior champ last year.
