Ellerton relaxed ahead of worldsBy BRUCE HEIDMAN, THE SUDBURY STARPosted 44 minutes agoAndrew Ellerton sounded relaxed and confident only a few days ahead of the biggest track meet of his running career. "It's a really relaxed environment here and I'm getting adjusted," Ellerton said Wednesday morning from Changwon, South Korea, where he is staying ahead of the IAAF World Championships, which begin Friday at Daegu, South Korea. "It has been a great training camp. Athletics Canada has set us up with nice hotel and a great track nearby. I don't have anything to worry about other than getting ready for my races." Ellerton, 27, has a good reason to feel relaxed ahead of the worlds. He qualified for the championships in early July when he ran a blazing personal best time of 1:45.04 to win the 800-metre event at the Harry Jerome International Track Classic in Burnaby, B.C. Ellerton's time was the second fastest in Canadian history and has him ranked 17th heading into this weekend's meet. Read the full article at: www.thesudburystar.com
