Just thought I would start up the discussion. Any predictions are welcome... individual champs, team champs, top ten, dark horses, overrated teams/individuals etc etc.

I just read the article about Yves Sikubwabo and it concerns me that his story may start a trend in high school sports. If he is allowed to run after only being in school since Oct 17, what is there to stop 4 or 5 runners coming to a school next year just for XC. I understand the hardships this young man has gone thru and wish him all the best in his new life but do not agree that he should be competing at OFSAA when he has not completed 1 month at the school.

i fell as long as he completed the amount of practices necassary to compete under ofssa rules he should be able too.... however i doubt he has... non the less im excited to see him run

Tristan isn't runnig OFSAA this year i believe....... because u need to come top 3 at EOSSA, and he didnt run the race because of a nagging injury......so unless u qualify for OFSAA without coming top 3 at your major race, he shouldnt be running

I'm going to predict that Tristan Woodfine out of Opeongo High School will capture the senior boys title with Xavier King coming second. Riley Johnson out of Fellowes High School finished 4th at the TISS Invatational will be someplace around 15th. Maddy Kelly also out of Fellowes should come top 15 for the junior girls race, as she was 24th last year in the midget girls run.
