NORTHUMBERLAND - Local high school runners are heading to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Cross Country Championships in Brampton on Saturday.

Last week, the East Northumberland Secondary School Blue Dragons hosted the Central Ontario Secondary School Athletics (COSSA) championship meet at the Goodrich-Loomis Conservation Area north of Brighton. The Blue Dragons claimed their 12th consecutive overall team COSSA title in the process.

Leading the charge for East Northumberland were senior girls and midget boys teams.
