Villanova Wildcats freshman Connor Rosaasen would not call track and field his first love.

In fact, it might not even be his second sport of choice, but Tuesday the 15-year-old Rosaasen looked like he had spent his life on the track.

Rosaasen broke a record that had stood for four decades on the first day of competition at the WECSSAA track and field championships. The three-day meet will draw 968 athletes from 28 schools to University of Windsor Stadium.
