Leger runner breezes to cross country crown

 

Nicholas Neri of Cardinal Leger breezed to victory in the Para 3- kilometre race at Saturday’s Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Association (OFSAA) cross country championship held at Heart Lake Conservation Area.
Neri was timed in 12:21, more than two minutes faster than the next competitor, Nick Chaput from Fellowes High School in Pembrooke in 14:37. The bronze medalist Julianne Miszek of St. Michael Niagara Falls crossed the finish line in 16:11.
