Big running class hits TISS

By the time the school year starts in the first week of September, the Thousand Islands Secondary School cross-country team will have already been training hard for a month.

As of last week, the team commenced its training program with around 80 students who can be seen running in a large group through Brockville's uptown on any given day.

"We have a lot of hard-working kids and a lot of leadership in the senior years," said Randy Givogue, one of the TISS cross-country coaches. "It's looking good."
